One of the premier 2021 prospects in the country for the past few years, junior standout Michael Foster changed the game so to speak this past offseason with a transfer to West Coast powerhouse Hillcrest Prep in Arizona. Now firmly established in Arizona, the Wisconsin native is continuing to soar on the national radar.
A standout in the NY2LA GNBA Basketball middle school platform and former Co-MVP performer at the annual NY2LA Futures Camp a few years back in what is considered his breakout performance, the 6-9 plus length junior has continued to elevate both regionally and nationally with stellar performances in various platforms the past few years and he’s firmly established himself as a consensus top 10 prospect nationally. Equipped with size, length, power, athleticism, and toughness, the talented junior can fill the box score with scoring, rebounding, and shot blocking. He can score at each level and while dominance around the basket has been a big part of his game, the soaring junior has continued to improve and develop his perimeter game to include an ability to score off the bounce and rip the nets with a jumper with range that extends beyond the arc.
Foster will be participating in the USA Basketball October minicap this upcoming weekend October 11-13, 2019 in Colorado. Becoming a complete player is his focus right now and Foster has continued to build off his momentum of the past couple years now at Hillcrest where the talented prospect is contiuing to generate offers nationally.
He now holds offers from Maryland, Illinois, Michigan, USC, Utah, Minnesota, TCU, Florida State, Kansas, Arizona, UCLA, Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Arkansas, UNLV, Wake Forest, LSU, Marquette, Maryland, Florida, etc. Needless to say the talented forward is one of the most coveted prospects in the 2021 class nationally and he’s really just starting to scratch the surface of his potential. He’s primed for a big year this season for Hillcrest Prep.
He played with the Mac Irvin Fire this past spring and summer.
