Right away at the Generation Next All-Star Camp, Jackson Cantwell of the Yanders Law program stood out from the rest of the players with his size. While still in middle school, the eighth grader already stands at 6’7” as well to having a strong build. Though there is much more to Cantwell than just his size as there is plenty to like about his game. With everything he can do, he was named Co-MVP of the camps 2026 level along with.
Cantwell was not only one of the most efficient scorers in the entire camp shooting 75% from the field but also one of the top scorers while averaging 18.5 points per game. As well to his impressive scoring mark, he was also able to average the most rebounds amongst the 2026 class with 9.5 per game. With all of this, he led his team to an undefeated record during the camp.
As expected with his size, Cantwell scored the ball very well around the basket. He has good touch around the paint and can finish in a crowd. Though he is much more than just an interior scorer as he also shot the ball at a high percentage in the mid-range and can put the ball on the floor. All throughout his games he played with a big motor running the floor and defending the paint. He is an aggressive big that really works to lock down the paint defensively.
For a middle schooler with his size, Cantwell already shows very advanced skills. If he can continue to progress his game, he will be one to track moving forward.
