Back in 2021, Max Jones first made a name for himself at the Generation Next All-Star Camp being names as an all-camp selection. Since then his game has continued to develop as the 2027 guard/forward has been one of the top players on the GNBA this spring while playing with 24:Up.

Throughout the spring, Jones has been one of the top scorers on the GNBA. This started with a 26-point performance during the first session of the GNBA in Louisville and has continued to grow from there. This past weekend at the NY2LA Sports Invitational, 24:Up and Jones won the 14U championship with an undefeated weekend.

“I am a playmaking three level scorer,” Jones said describing his own game. “I love to pass and take whatever the defense gives me.” There are very few players not even in high school yet with his combination of physical tool, skill level, and versatility. He stands at 6’3” and already has a strong build to go along with his perimeter skills. He plays well with the ball in his hands and excels going strong to the basket as an overpowering force but has also been a consistent shooter from the outside being able to create his own shot. He has such a great ability to impact a game in so many with not only his high-level scoring ability but also his defensive versatility, aggressive rebounding, and creating for his teammates.

With the GNBA Championships coming up next weekend in Waukegan, IL, Jones will is one for sure to watch as this deep and talented 24:Up squad will be looking for another tournament championship this season. In the fall, Jones will be attending West Allis Central to start off his high school career.
