So much talent from the 14U level of the GNBA Championships. While not even in high school yet, there was a great deal of talent. Here are several others in addition to the top performers who had themselves tremendous weekends.
Jackson Albee – 2027 – PG – Pro Lane
Albee started the tournament in a big way going for 21-points leading a comeback victory. As well to being a skilled and versatile scorer, Albee also has very good point guard skills. He constantly showed a good ability to run an offense with his high IQ, vision, strong handle, and court awareness.
Blake Baisch – 2027 – PG – Closed Gym
While he can score it effectively himself, Basich was also one of the top distributors of the tournament. There are few players at the 14U level who are always scanning the floor like he does looking to set up his teammates with tremendous vision on the move. For a player still shy of high school, he has a great array of point guard tools as he also moves so well with the ball getting all over the floor.
Jacob Fuller – 2027 – F/C – Team Herro
The new addition for Team Herro is already fitting in very well and making a big impact. He has great size already at 6’6” with some length. He started off the tournament with a 17-point performance doing the bulk of it around the paint but also stepped out and hit a three with a jumper that shows promise. Defensively, he moves well for his size protecting the paint and covering plenty of ground as a help defender.
Griffin Mehrhoff – 2027 – F – Yanders Law
A versatile forward who showed a good scoring ability but can do much more. He has good strength and plays with plenty of energy. He uses his physical tools and motor to play big down in the paint on both ends but also showcase the ability to be a knockdown shooter spotting up from the outside over multiple games, including four three’s in a game on Saturday.
Tref Rademaker – 2027 – C – Chapman Basketball
There are few players before reaching high school who can be such dominant post scorers like Rademaker can be. He already has very good size at 6’5” plays with some strength and was finishing very well around the basket but can also stretch the floor and hit the three. He saved his best performance for in the championship win going for 21 points in a dominant performance.
